Personal Work

Product Design, Production
As a personal project for my apartment, I refubished an old pair of DDR-period laminate cabinets, hacking them up and converting them into a chest of drawers and console with a bright, very non-DDR yellow and baby blue colour scheme.

I wanted to add an additional touch with new 3D-printed, screwless knobs, which became the basis for the Knöbb project. After quite a few iterations I arrived at a solution that fit snugly, had a nice tactility and a distinctly 3D-printed aesthetic.
